Alexi + Jason \ Whiteface Lodge Lake Placid Wedding

Today I'm finally sharing photos from a beautiful Lake Placid wedding that I shot last winter. I was beyond excited when Alexi first emailed me about shooting their upstate NY wedding.. Complete with a cozy lodge, lots of skiing and a whole ton of gorgeous mountain views and mounds of snow! We arrived the night before making a quick trip to Whiteface Mountain and attending their rehearsal dinner to get to know their families who traveled from all over to celebrate. On the day of their wedding we headed up to the mountain again for portraits, 3,000 ft. up to be exact ;) I have to say that Alexi gets the award for most adventurous bride with the temperature easily at -10! Our stay at Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid was nothing short of amazing, from the fireplaces + personal balconies in each room to the chocolate chip cookies left on our pillows + the warm lodge feel, our entire weekend was incredible! When I tell you that Whiteface Lodge is absolutely worth the trip I'm not kidding, the drive alone is worth it. We had such a blast with these two!
